The Neighborhood

Sadly, this year there are not nearly as many Easter decorations in yards as in previous years. But the Big Cat is still dressed up and ready to celebrate!

I spotted this cool stand on a porch a few blocks away.

I really like this lovely wreath. An older couple live here. They are always out doing yard work.

And one lone Easter tree.

That Mr. Rogers was one smart dude. I LOVE the necklace, so cute. Happy Weekend and boogie boogie.

Love seeing the decorations. So missing all the flower displays and especially will miss Rockefeller Center this year. I think I'll be posting pictures of last year.

I love that big cat of yours and how she(?) gets decorated to go with the seasons.

I love the cat - the wreathe - the tree with eggs - and the egg holder - so nice to see those decorations. Love Mr. Rogers too!

Well that’s great that there are these decorations around. The cat is adorable! Isn’t that just the neatest Mr. Rogers quote? I love it, thank you Ginny :)

The Big Cat certainly looks cool, unlike the humans... we are all like holed at home. Keep safe, Ginny!

We haven't seen too many Easter yard decorations either. But I'm glad the big cat never disappoints.

Great Easter eye catchers. I do not recall ever seeing an egg tree. I probably have but do not remember. To answer your question on pink Saturday, no, that is not my home. It belongs to my granddaughter and family. If you have an email, and will share, will send picture of mine. Nothing like like this tho.

I absolutely love that cat, Ginny! I wonder where the people got it? Probably some sort of statuary place... we have a couple close by. Perhaps I'll go looking around for one, once we are able to shop again. The pleasure of a neighborhood walk and the noticing of decorations... such a simple joy that means so much now. I think that's a positive lesson we've all learned during this time. Love, Andrea xoxo

What spirit-lifting decorations during this time of uncertainty. There is always certainty, though, in trusting Jesus.

Your cat is quite festive! That egg stand is fancy! I did see one of those blow up inflatable Easter bunnies in a carrot car in someone's front yard. That's about it for Easter decor that I've seen on our walks. Have a lovely Saturday!

It's good to see that some folks are still going about their usual activities , at a safe distance of course.
