The Answers

Quite a few of you know what the mystery gadgets are. The first one is called a Pill Popper. It is used to stick down your pet's mouth and pop a pill down the back of their throat. This is to be used after you put their pill in tasty food, and they eat the food and spit the pill out. The key words here being "pet's mouth". You first have to get it into their mouth! As IF!

This next one is a pill crusher. You put the pill inside, put the lid on, and turn it. It does a good job.

It looks like some kind of stringe without the needle. Looking forward to your answer.

I think that's something you use for a lab, for a test or something ...

The first one looks like an old pencil eraser, kind of...

I think the first one is a pill popper. I had one for Duke when I couldn't get him to take the pills the vet gave him. It works well to pop that pill into the back of their mouth but he was still able to spit the darn thing out.
The second thing I have no idea what it is.

I haven't a clue. But, I like the shade of blue on the 2nd one!

The first one looks like some kind of syringe and is the second one a pill splitter?

I think the first one has something to do with medicine and the second has something to do with opening a bottle. In other words, I don't know. Haaahahaha xoxo

I am with the photowannabe...I thought the first one might be to give a cat a pill...and the other either to split a pill or to grind one up.

The last one must be a pill splitter, but I have no idea on the other one.

I'm guessing the last one is a pill splitter.

So this is how you feed the cat... I don't have any problem with my dog, I just put the tablet into a bun and she will gulp it down. LOL...

Hootin Anni said...

I hope to never use one. For both me & cat.

I have no problem with my cat ...
I put the tablet in a piece of tasty salami and she will swallow herself.

Lol! So it is a pill popper! I haven't seen or used one because somehow I managed to get my dogs to swallow the pills. I don't know about cats, might be more difficult with cats.

I don't have a cat now, but I remember those days. Dogs are easier, all they care about is inhaling whatever is in their food bowls. At least the two I have now. I remember only one finicky dog when it comes to food - out of the 12 I have lived with.

And now I know. Thanks Ginny, this was fun and so were those cartoons.

I have had those experience with giving cats pills!

OMGosh, so so true, Ginny! We don't even try to give Goldie medication. We just take her to the vet everyday and they do it for us. It costs $7/day but to us it's worth it. Luckily she's only needed medication once since we adopted her and that was at the beginning, for coxxcydia (sp?). That's gone though and she's been healthy ever since. Hope all is well with you~ Andrea xoxo

We had a sick cat a few years ago we had to give three pills to twice a day! Boy, that was a chore! She would hide under our bed and we would have to take it all apart to get to her. We did it for 20 days but she got better and lived a few more years so it was worth it!

Oh my! I'm a relatively new cat owner (I've had her since July of 2019) and I've yet to give her a pill. Now I hope I never have to! xoxo

I snapped these from the Target parking lot. The sun had just gone down, but the trees were hiding the very bottom part of the sunset. Life...
