I saw this cartoon on Facebook, and thought how well it fit ME..It's not that I don't get things done. They just take weeks instead of a day like they used to. How about you?
“As you
grow older, three things happen. The First is your memory goes, and I can’t
remember the other two.”

That cartoon and quote sounds like me too. A hot cup of coffee would be nice because it is nice and cool at this time over here.
The drawing says a lot ... I am younger than the lady in question, but my body says that sometimes too! But you know what ...
"It is not true that people stop pursuing dreams because they grow old, they grow old because they stop pursuing dreams."
- Gabriel García Márquez
You asked me which island I was on Sunday ... that was Ameland (the Netherlands)
My mojo got up and left too!
OH yeah, that definitely fits me. In my mind I'm very ambitious but I'm not so good with the follow through
*hahaha* That's me too, Ginny!!! ~Andrea xoxo
since the shut down in March, every time I go in the roome where my computer is, i think I am going to organize and toss this room. is is now 10 months and my mind says do it but my body doesn't listen
Oh Ginny - I know EXACTLY what you mean. My mind is strong and my body doesn't want to go.
Yep, that's me too lol!
Cute Header!!!
Oh what a great cartoon!!!!
Mmmmm, does this come with age?
'Cause I am going to say, it does!
So it's not gonna' be my fault!!! -grinnnn-
That cartoon exactly summarizes the way I feel!
Yes! But I do spend a lot of time forcing my body to do what it doesn't want to!
Yes! I look back at the way I used to be and I am so impressed! But that ship sailed and I’m navigating new waters over here.....
Oh, that cartoon sure fits me...wish I had thought of it.
Ginny,
Oh my, I love it.
I love the quotes you shared too.
Kenosha is a Wisconsin city experiencing social unrest. Earlier in 2020 the city experienced burning and looting of private shops, homes and business.
The concern is that this will happen again this week. Two people were stabbed to death last night.. not sure if it was related to the protests at this time.
Thank you for the prayers. Carla
I guess we are all in the same boat. I can sure spend the day doing nothing I am suppose to do.
My get up and go..went..

LOL! Now that made my afternoon, Ginny. Thanks!...:)jp
Yes, I can relate. Seems that everything takes longer, at least most of the time.I have the occasional day where i get stuff done quickly.
Andy and I shake our heads in amusement at how long it takes us to do anything now, but we’re content living life in the very slow lane.
Love that cartoon - that's me!
Love the cartoon and the quotes. It fits me too. I have to do things in stages these days.
