Passenger Pigeon

We had been driving behind this car for awhile. That is how I noticed that this Pigeon had hitchhiked a ride on their back window.

He stayed on for a long time, and not so much as a feather was ever ruffled.

That is when I saw that he was not real, he was a fake pigeon. I can only guess why he was put there. As a joke? Or just because the driver loves pigeons?

Stages of working from home:
– Yay, I get to work from home
– It would be nice to talk to people
– I hope that pigeon sits in the window today

It does look real and I was wondering how in the world it's a down there while they were driving. I'm betting that they're selling those and there's always somebody that will buy anyting

It sure does look like it's real. I wondered how it managed to hang on. I wonder what the story is behind him being there.

I hope they did the pigeon for a laugh to all who spotted it. Working from home at this time is so good. I know what you mean about talking to people, better in person than by phone. Blessings to you, stay safe. xoxo, Susie

I love it! Thumbs up to the clever person who put it there and gave us a laugh. 👍

That's funny. I call my black Cadillac "The Raven" because its color is Raven Black, and I love the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe, and especially The Raven. My license plate is NVRMORE. Just like the utterance of the literary raven above the chamber door. Folks come up to us all the time in parking lots, saying that they "get it" and laughing with us about the license plate. Then we point out my large fake raven bird perched in the back window. I bought him at a pop-up Halloween store. He's not always easy to see but when you do see him, you can't unsee him. Once at a full-service car wash, a fellow dived inside the back seat to clean, saw the bird, and nearly passed out! Haahaahhaaaa xoxo
