Spring!

Today is the first day of  Meteorological Spring! Did you know there are TWO first days of Spring? Meteorological and Astronomical. Astronomical begins on the Spring Equinox. Meteorlogical seasons always begin on the first days of the month, so each season id evenly divided into three months. Anyway, what could be more springlike than tulips? Here are some of my photos from a past spring.

The one thing I know about spring is that beautiful flowers are blooming everywhere. The tulips are gorgeous and the colour so striking.

I have never seen a tulip growing, only in the stores in boquets and not even in the nursery in pots. i am wondering if they don't do well here

Until this year I've never heard of a meteorological spring. I've only ever heard of the spring equinox.
Those tulips sure are pretty. I can't wait to start seeing spring flowers.

They are just beautiful! I have been in a spring-like mood this weekend even though Saturday morning started with a light snow
