The Tinest

I saw this tiny chameleon in the paper today, and was kind of enchanted by it! So I immediatly went on the web to find these pictures and facts about it.

Brookesia Nana may be the tiniest Chameleon on the face of the earth, at under an inch long. Found in Madagascar recently, researchers thought it was extinct! It is different from any other chameleon species. It can't change color, and it's more comfortable on the forest floor than in trees.

Speaking of a tiny chameleon, wait till you see what ELSE I found! Next time...

Delightful little creature Ginny. Thank you for introducing me. It is fun to learn about new things for although I know of chameleons, I didn’t know they came this small.

That is interesting Ginny. I wonder if they had thought it extinct, is the one your found very unusual to be found in your area. Perhaps you better tell someone about it and see if it is. Wouldn't that be exciting. You are right about the paddle boarder in my post today.

Oh, it won't jump off from the finger? I really don't like insects but I don't mind looking at them in your posts, Ginny! hahahaha..

You wonder if that is the very same thought to be extinct. And, if so, why in America?

Wow! It’s so small! How does it even survive? Maybe no one can see it.

Cute critter but I wouldn't want it on my finger. I prefer looking at it from a distance.

Such a tiny little thing...I've never heard of them, but I'm guessing that if one ever crossed my path, I wouldn't see it anyway...as small as it is. very interesting...

Well, being so small it's probably good at hiding even without changing colour...? I can't recall ever seeing anything that small on four legs!
