Winter Scene

I made this scene for on top of our coffee cabinet. It needs something, but I am not sure what! More trees, more deer, or something else altogether?

“What a severe, yet master artist old Winter is.... No longer the canvas and the pigments, but the marble and the chisel.”

I like that soft green garland......I use miles of it! You can cut it with scissors and curve it around whatever and wherever. It softens and anchors the scenes - or that's what it seems like to me. I use it to cover cords and anything else I want to 'hide.'
I wanted to get a few of the bottle brush trees for decorating a couple of sheets of real birch bark Summer brought back from New England.....but I can't find any down here!

I think it looks perfect just the way it is. It looks fantastic. I love the tray and those deer are so cute.

That is the cutest tray you made for your coffee space. Maybe adding some twinkling lights or snow flakes would be a nice addition. I've been wanting to add twinkling lights to my mantel as well. : ) Your tray really is cute, Ginny. I like the snow you added.

I see a couple of small packages placed under the trees (or closeby). But, it's beautiful as is.

I like it Ginny! I would add twinkle lights if you can. It will make it look like snow. ;-)

I think I would remove one of the big trees and put a snowman. But it looks sweet as it is too. xoxo

I like it the way it is. I like the idea of the snowman because I love those. The deer are so cute! I have been thinking of buying a couple of similar trees.
