At the local art park, there is a big ugly concrete wall. So they painted this mural on it, and voila! Not ugly anymore. Instead; joyful and weird. Here is the joyful.
And here is the weird. So I guess there's something for everyone.
“No great artist ever
sees things as they really are. If he did, he would cease to be an artist.”
~Oscar Wilde

I love that joyful one! It makes me smile.
I like the first one but not the second one with the snake like thing.
WOW, they really did make that wall look good. I love the first. The second one is very creative but I'm not sure I can figure out just what it's supposed to be.
That 2nd one is really odd!!
love the joy and even the weird is wonderful and makes that wall so much better
Love the firs one and agree the second one is a bit weird. Art, perhaps?
I was going to say it is pretty! I agree with the quote - an artist can see things I could never see.
Both murals are a big improvement, but I like the jouyous mural best.
That makes me smile!
Oh good gri ... uhhhh, whhaaaaat? I am stunned and amazed. Like, what did I just see? Haaahahaha! xoxo
In agreement on the weird one..I don't get it...To each his own.
Love the gal and her joy.

Your description was perfect. And there's something about artistic license. Oscar's quote is very true :) I like the first one of the girl but I would like to talk to that artist about the second, about what he was going for.
Definitely both joyful and weird but either way the ugly wall sure looks a lot better!
Just goes to show you anything can be transformed!
Both those paintings serve to brighten an otherwise dull area.
Nice and colorful and certainly better than looking a cement wall.
What a wonderful way to brighten up that ugly wall!
Joyful art! That second one is sure different. Not a fan of snakes though.
Joyful one was lovely. Second one was well done but gave me the creeps!
