Sun Spot

Have you ever seen one of these? They are like a rainbow, but are just a spot instead of an entire arch. Their name is Sun dog. But I call them sun spots, because that is what they are!

They are usually seen on either side of the sun when it is low in the sky in the evenings.

Look up and behold Heaven's gallery of art, with its countless, ever-changing, golden pictures of beauty, illuminating the gorgeous curtain of ethereal blue.

Beautiful. Sun's Spots is better than Sun dog. Great quote by James Lendall Basford.

I just saw these on a friend's blog if you want to go over and see them, Mountain Top Spice, on my side bar. These are such pretty photos, Ginny. It does look like art in the sky, doesn't it?
