Strawberry Moon

Today was the full Strawberry Moon. It was also a super moon. And sure enough, it was huge and reddish. But it has been so covered with clouds that I was never abe to get a good picture of it. Here are the two best ones.

What a beautiful moon... I missed it. Love that saying 'bloom where you are planted'. I try to do that. It isn't always easy but I try.

You got wonderful pictures of the Strawberry Moon, Ginny. My youngest went out for two nights and it was so cloudy she never got to see it at all. She was really disappointed as she's a big astronomy buff. I'll show her your photos! ~Andrea xoxo

Well done again Ginny. :-) We did not get to see it at all. We had storms all night long.

Oh Ginny, I've heard of the Strawberry Moon, but never had the pleasure of seeing it. That first photo is very cool. I like the strawberry quote too. You know, strawberries used to be my favorite fruit til I changed to cherries.

Have a pleasant weekend, Ginny. Thank you for all your wonderful posts. They are a bright spot in a sometimes dreary day. I'm so glad to have found you in blog land.
