The family came over to celebrate the Fourth, and I made these patriotic fruit kababs.
We had hot dogs, chips, and ice-cream sandwiches as well .Here, two of the granddaughters are helping themselves. Notice that Jazz is wearing a headband with two patriotic mini pinwheels sticking from the top.
Then we headed outside to set off fireworks. But that is for my next post.

Sweet photos of your family Ginny. Looks like a wonderful 4th and those kebobs looked very pretty!
A very traditional meal I must say! I know you all had a grand time, Ginny. Can't wait to see pictures of the fireworks. Last Saturday evening our oldest daughter had the little card table in the front lawn too. *haha* Your setup looked just like ours. ~Andrea xoxo
Happy Family Time!! :-)
HaHa on your clever quote...
I'm so glad you could have an all American celebration with terrific kabobs, dogs and chips plus fireworks..
Looks like a whole lot of fun.

What a nice 4th of July you had, Ginny. Hot dogs are just the best on the 4th. Somehow they taste better that day. Your patriotic fruit kabobs are wonderful. I like the checkered plates too. Smiles all around. : )
