A Rustic Run

 Our granddaughter Dara had another cross cuntry run on Tuesday, and we were there. It was raining!

Lots of people had brought their dogs, and they didn't like the rain either. But it was just a sprinkling, and did not last long.

Our youngest granddaughter Jazz was there, and she got in the car for a visit.

And they're off! The event was at the Frontier Culture Museum, so there were lots of fields and old building replicas.

Dara nearing the finish line!

He gives strength to the weary
    and increases the power of the weak.
 Even youths grow tired and weary,

    and young men stumble and fall;
 but those who hope in the Lord

    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.

What a wonderful event there is. The building looks really having a long history in itself. Great shots.

What a great place to hold an event. I wondered what the building was.
So is Dara's ankle all better now? How did she do on this run?

Interesting that they had the run and an exhibit near each other like that. Why does it always rain during tract events? I remember.

Oh, those poor kids had to run in the rain. Thankfully, it was only for a short while. What a fun day going to the cross country run. That house is so charming, and it looks nice on your Header. Looks like it has a big porch too, which I love. And thank you for that wonderful verse. It's one of my favorites, and it made me smile to hear it again. I'm a bit weary after going to the dentist this week. More dental work to come, which is never fun.

Have a good rest of the week, Ginny.
