Accident Prone

Well, I have finally figured out how to type using different fingers, and it should only be temporary! Here is the new splint the doctor gave me.

No, my finger is not broken. But I hit it many times a day, and this protects it. You'd think that after over 70 years, I would be less clumsy. But I seem to be getting even worse!

I would have trouble typing with that, also it would be hard not to keep hurting it. I hope you heal fast!

Best wishes to you for your finger healing and for you not bumping it. Funny quote at the end of your post.

Most of my kitchen accidents are caused by the mandoline.

Good to see you and I do hope your finger heals quickly. The splint looks awkward but if it stops you accidentally knocking your finger several times a day, then worth it. I have found myself that if we are trying to be careful to avoid contact after an injury, we seem to do it more. Cute quote :)

Hi, Ginny!
I hope you're feeling less pain and that that splinter can help you heal faster (less hits=less pain=faster healing)!
Have a great week!

Isn't that the way? No matter what, a boo boo makes it all clumsy! I hope you feel much better and better every single day!

I can relate. I seem to get more bumps and scrapes the older I get. I had a splint on my index finger once. It does make it difficult to type. Hope the splint helps you heal fast.

Ouch! We are not always aware at how much we may hit our fingers or toes until they are injured! Hope you heal fast!

Oh my kudos for typing with that thing on your finger. Hope its a speedy recovery.
To answer your question on my blog.
Yes we did go to Cancun. It took about 9 months for all the paperwork , taxes and all the releases from the tv studio.
This was when Cancun was hardly known to anyone and still pretty much a sleepy little area.
We had to look it up on the map..we had no idea where it was. Really nice time anyhow. Great memories.

Do not worry about fancy posting, during this time... Your only *duty* is to heal!!!!!!!!

I'd have to resort to one finger picking out just enough words, to make myself understood. And not worry about more than that.

Please do not push your self!!!

Yes, we did see that now-famous-quarter-back-sack-of-Tagovailoa!!!! Yes, I did notice the weird way his fingers moved, after!!!!! It scared me.

No doubt, football is a violent game. I can't say I don't know this. And thus, I understand why some women will not watch it.

Since I no longer think Tom Brady is *PERFECT* I probably won't be watching much...

That looks like it will protect your finger well.

But I'm most impressed by the masterful composition of your header.

I hope your finger heals quickly, and it seems that you found a way to do the usual things you do each day. I had trigger thumb at one time in my life, and had to wear a splint to not use it and protect it, so it would heal. Your post reminded me of that.

Wishing you happy days in October, my friend. So glad you're back. I missed your lovely posts.

I hope it heals quickly! It's hard to do a lot of things when a finger is out of commission!
