Halloween 2022

This house in town built their own cemetary, fence and everything, in their front yard!

Their walkway is lined with shrunken head skulls.

“But let me tell you something wonderful, a mystery I’ll probably never fully understand. We’re not all going to die—but we are all going to be changed. You hear a blast to end all blasts from a trumpet, and in the time that you look up and blink your eyes—it’s over. On signal from that trumpet from heaven, the dead will be up and out of their graves, beyond the reach of death, never to die again.”

1 Corinthians 15

They really put in a lot of effort to decorate their place for Halloween.

I know it is nothing like the real end of life will be - but Halloween is kind of cute. Not sure if it is an okay holiday or not. Still was fun - but waiting for Jesus to come.

A lot of work!

Of course, I prefer a *gentler* Halloween theme!!!! -giggggles- But to each his/her own.

And thank you for showing local decorations!!!! Of this holiday. Just like you show them, for all the other holidays.

There is nothing evil or bad or horrid, about this holiday. It was given a *Smear Job* by the early church. And they did a *great* job of so doing. -sigh-sigh-sigh-

Anyway, I know you are a lovely and Religious woman. It bothers me, when I read comments here, which cast this holiday, in a questionable light. And thus, by association, may cast this post, in a questionable light.

Do not be bothered, by those, with a narrow point of view, my Dear!!!!

Gentle hugs...

WOW... they really got into the spirit of Halloween decorating. I wonder what they will do for Christmas. :-)

I just can't handle to gore and emphasis on the horror.
Some people really go all out but I just don't get it.
Great verse, thanks for sharing.
