Grapes Of A Different Kind

 The Grape Hyacinths have just finished blooming. I always love seeing them, as blue flowers are kind of rare.






Not technically a true hyacinth, this plant has a gorgeous flower color and is often used to adorn walkways and other ornamental areas. Grape hyacinths are a type of spring-flowering bulb that produces clusters of deep blue or purple flowers.

They are so pretty! We have them here too, but ours always bloom in the Spring.

Yes, blue flowers ARE rare, and these are beautiful. What a sight that must be to walk by and see a field of them!
