Red Rubber Ball

How many of you remember the song "Red Rubber Ball" by the Cyrkle? We saw them in concert along with The Beatles. Anyway, the sun tonight reminded me of that song. I believe it was this color because of the thick mist.

That little black spot just right of center was actually not on the lens, it was on the sun! Or at least in the sky in front of the sun.

When I was young, I could bounce back from things like a brand-new rubber ball.

I remember the Beatles and the Song Red Rubber Ball - those were the days - right?
I can't believe the color off that moon - it was gorgeous. You think all the smoke from the fires made it that color?
Gorgeous.

Is that one of the special full moons? The second one will be on Aug. 31, I think.
