We watched a T.V. show last week about a scientist who managed a way to look inside a chicken egg while the chick is forming. It was amazing! Here are the photos I took of the process.

The Peak
The house that grows tulips all over their front yard is now at it's peak. I posted it earlier this spring, but now it looks a lot better, with even more tulips.
Tulips are the dancers of the garden, swaying gracefully
with every breeze.

Wild Violets
The wild Violets are growing in yards everywhere now! They are so sweet. We have quite a few in our yard, and I hate for them to be mowed down.
Notice there are some white ones here! Although the name suggests the flower's color, the violet comes in blue, purple, white, green, and even pale gray.

A Full House
While waiting in line at the drug store drive-thru, I spotted this little House Sparrow. I usually think of them as common and drab. But my, what colors they have in the spring! These little Sparrows are chatty and gregarious.
He was busy searching for food, and our car did not seem to bother him at all.
He actually hopped right up to our front tire! The House Sparrow has a simple success formula: it associates with humans.

Into the Green
While making a trip over Afton Mountain for a doctor appointment, I was fascinated by the beautiful green. The way the sun was shining on the trees looked rather like an enchanted forest to me.

heart and perhaps the singing bird will come.” – Lois Lowry

many things that I have never seen: in every wood in every spring there is a
different green.”

Our Lawn
I always look forward to the Dandelions. They look like spots of sunshine in the yard after a dreary winter. We have quite a lot.
I found these with bees on them.
But what's this?
See this tiny blue flower? Here it is in comparison to my shoe.
It is called Speedwell. It has about 500 different species! And is so cute, and are all over our yard.

A Whole New World
Our granddaughter Dara was in the play "Alladin Jr." this week. She played the head of the guards. So come along with me for a visit to the Ottoman empire!
The outfits of the princess & her ladies were really pretty and bejeweled.
Here is Dara "arresting" them.
She was trying to be serious and not laugh.
Success!
Alladin & the princess singing "A Whole New World". They had beautiful voices.
