A Grape Of Another Kind

The Grape Hyacinths are all in bloom. Here are the ones around here. I don't know why, but in my head I picture fairies dancing around them!

I love those little flowers. Fairies make good sense. Perfect size for them to dance about celebrating spring.

I love that poster about hyacinths being a symbol of both sorrow and a celebration of life. I love hyacinths.

So pretty. I used to have some of these in my yard. I'll have to go see if they are still out there. They were in a flower bed that I tore out years ago.

I have not seen these beautiful flowers except on blogs and in photos on line. I am thinking AI could add precious fairy's in your photos.. I think all flowers are symbols of sorrow and celebration. we use the same flowers for weddings and funerals, these are beautiful. I would like a bunch in a vase on my kitchen table

I love grape hyacinths but they do take over very quickly so a friend of mine pulls them up, but I let them spread around.

You got some real pretty pictures and your header shot is gorgeous! I took photos of them at the garden a couple of days ago but there weren’t nearly as many as these.

My goodness Ginny - those were beautiful. Are they in your yard?

How pretty. We keep meaning to plant these on our hill. They would look beautiful intertwined with the orange poppies.

Lovely- and probably perfect playground for the elves! ;-)

I can just imagine the fragrance of these flowers all in bloom. They remind me of our bluebonnets. While bluebonnets do have a sweet smell,, nothing compares that of the hyacinths. I agree Ginny....the header picture is so perfect, one can imagine little fairys dancing around on them. Beautiful, beautiful....

Oh I love these. They fill me with Joy.
Hyacinths for the soul. I used to know a poem about them, but I can't for the life of me remember it. the ending was about Hyacinths for the soul.

One of my favorite spring flowers although mine sadly through the years have been lost (I need to buy some bulbs). Enjoyed seeing your photos of them.

These look just like the purple flowers on my post today. Such pretty pictures, Ginny. And my favorite color, PURPLE! You can see so much detail in the flowers on the close-ups.

Sunday Sunset

I thought I would do something a bit different for Sunday Sunset. These are all barns that I snapped either right before or after sunset. N...
