A View From A Car

We passed this a couple blocks away today.

We haven't had a strong storm lately, so I don't know what could have happened.

Of course people were curious.

If I ever see these people outside, I will ask them about it.

Wow, that's crazy how it just snapped off like that. It looks like it was a healthy tree too.

Have you had a lot of rain? sometimes a small twist of wind is in the rain only in one spot. we see that happen here a lot. it does look like wind felled it. there is one bigger than this on a few blocks from our house, but it looks like lightning split it down the middle. it is completely in half, with each half out to the side.

Wow - that was a big tree, and a huge task to clean it up.

It saddens me to see a big ol' tree just topple. We have had so many in our area do so these past few months. What a huge loss for these people.

Love the sayings and cartoons you find to go along with your photos.
We definitely need to stay "Grounded" and put our roots down deep in His Word.

Love your jokes. My guess and who am I - if you had had lots of rain - the roots got lose and the tree with any wind would have toppled over. What do you think? :)

That's a large tree, I hope no one was injured and no cars damaged.

Oh no, another tree has fallen. Wondering what that was all about. The electrical company goes around our neighborhood from time to time and sees if there are any unhealthy trees that need to be cut down. I only had one in my front yard out of 10! Love that tree comic, Ginny. Let us know if you ever find out what happened to the tree that has fallen.
