The Days Of Our Lives

We have a calendar in a wood frame hanging on the kitchen wall. Have you seen them? They really turn a calendar into a kind of wall decoration.

And I thought I might show you a photo of each calendar page at the beginning of each month. Along with anything going on in that month. Here is the page from last month, July.

And here is the new August page

Let's see. this month we have 2 eye doctor appointments, an M.R.I. , a podiatrist appointment, getting our hair cut, and a new roof next week. Seems like all of our exciting adventures are now health appointments and home repairs!

“Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem as eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it.”

That frame makes a calendar hanging on the wall look so much nicer. I don't know that I've ever seen one of those before. It sounds like you have a busy month. I don't think I have anything scheduled for the month of August. I do need to make an appointment to have the brakes changed on my car though.

the only thing on your list of happenings for the month that I don't mind doing is the eye appointment.. the rest are OH NOOOOO! beautiful calendar and I like the broken pot from July and the snail and bridge from this month. great idea. I will enjoy seeing them. I buy the Five dollar ones with no pictures for the kitchen and a 3 dollar small one with puppies/kittens for the bedroom by the bathroom door so I see it all the time

Such a neat way to display a calendar. I like how it is framed. The pictures that are on calendars these days, makes for beautiful pieces of art to hang on a wall. My August calendar is filled with Birthdays and some other special events. If you are like me...I have my phone calendar, my personal calendar and a home calendar. Calendars keep me organized.

I’ve always wanted one of those wooden calendar keepers. We keep our appointment calendar on the inside of our pantry door and another one in the office. I’m thinking maybe I’ll get me a pretty calendar in the new year to display and share like you and Pamela do every month! A new blog trend!
I mostly use my phone calendar because I need the alerts so I don’t forget.
Happy August!

Your calendar setup sounds like a charming way to keep track of both time and events! It’s interesting to see how the month unfolds with health appointments and home improvements. I hope everything goes smoothly with your new roof and appointments. I just posted a new blog post: I invite you to share your opinion. Thank you.
