I like weeds. Or, as I like to call them, wildflowers. They are determined to grow under the worst conditions. Struggles seem to make them flourish. I wish I could be that way. Anyway, outside my doctor's office today, I saw this Thistle plant. Thorny!
Prickly, too. But I think it has it's own beauty.

I'm with you. I like weeds too. Thistle is one of my favorites. I love the flowers they get on them.
a lot of beautiful flowers come with prickles, like the blooms on cactus, this beautiful thistle, roses are a few. I always wanted to pick the thistles but did not dare touch them
For me the jury about weeds is still out. The ragweed is not my friend. lol
I like weeds too - they just need to stay in their place!
I agree thistles have their own kind of beauty
I like weeds too. Goldenrod is one of my favorite late summer blooms. :-)

Count me in, too. Weeds are just wildflowers. Seems we only recognize this when we get older. Lovely photos
Weeds are wild flowers to me too. We have a lot of thistles around here. Pretty but don't like the stickers!!
There is beauty in so many things around us! Even weeds. Yes, even weeds! So many beautiful wildflowers are essentially weeds. God's amazing creation!
I see this plant at the creek at a certain time of the year. It's pretty when it opens. The one at your doctor's office is pretty. I love the wildflowers too, Ginny. ; )

Very pretty.
I have a hard time thinking of wildflowers as weeds.
Thistles are very pretty and unique. Thank you for sharing these! xoxo
I really missed seeing thistle in bloom this year! I think it so beautiful, but we are among the few.
