Gone Along With The Dinosaurs

About three houses up the street is this house. They have the most interesting thing out front. It is a graveyard of things that have died along with the dinosaurs. things like:

·       Please & thank you

·       Affordable housing

·       Common decency

·       Bipartisan cooperation

Can you think of anything to add?

“The fence around a cemetery is foolish, for those inside can't come out and those outside don't want to get in.”

That's a pretty clever idea. If my brain was more awake I could probably come up with a few more.

Very clever and sadly so true!

That's very clever to do that, getting in the theme of Halloween and yet has a point to what has gone on before, and a warning what can be. Thanks for sharing this Ginny.

Very creative on their part. To prove a point the other day hubby was out on a walk, when a teenage ish...little younger maybe boy was riding his bike. Hubby moved off to the side on the sidewalk so the kids on the bike could pass. And the kids said thank you! Hubby was so shocked he came home and told me about it. How sad that something like should come as a shock. But, in this day and age...what can I say. You never hear parents anymore tell their kids to say thank you, or to hold open a door etc. I don't think parents today do a good job of teaching their kids the everyday stuff we learned from our parents.

This is a unique idea... I can think of several things and one would definitely be RESPECT. for self and others.

The tombstones are very clever but what a sad commentary on society today.
Really interesting and thought provoking.
