The Pirates & The Coachman

Our neighborhood has two homes that have really inventive and elaborate decorations. Here is a pirate ship, they created so much detail! It is apparently being attacked by some kind of giant octopus.

This next one is an old-fashioned carriage. I believe it is a hearse, as you can see the skeleton laying down in the back. We were driving past fast, and I only got one quick shot.

“There comes a time in a man’s life when he hears the call of the sea. “Hey, YOU!” are the sea’s exact words. If the man has a brain in his head, he will hang up the phone immediately.”
Dave Barry

“It’s funny that pirates were always going around searching for treasure, and they never realized that the real treasure was the fond memories they were creating.”
Jack Handey

I was about to say the first one gets the most creative decor ribbon but they are equal I think. VERY creative but I lean towards the pirate ship because they built it out of nothing except the octopus..

I continue to feel "aghast" by this kind of creativity... ;-)

My goodness girl - do you have your camera out all the time and ready? By the time I turn my phone on and get it ready - it's past!

these people are very creative. The great thing is that as they enjoy it, others get to as well...
