Despite the time of year, there are still some gardens hanging around back yards. But they do look half dead! Several people around here hang up C.D.'s, maybe to scare off the birds, or for decorations.

I love that quote! How true. ❤️
I love that quote you put at the end of your post. How true :)
Hi Ginny! Thank you for coming by my blog, yes, I have been absent from blogging for a couple of months now. I will continue to blog from time to time... hope we can be able to keep our blogs alive as long as we possibly can!
About the CDs, I also did hang some on my kitchen window to keep the birds away from standing on the window sills... It works!
CDs look so colourful and beautiful.
Love that quote. I've heard of using CD's to scare off critters but they are a nice decorative touch too. Especially when the sun hits them.
I think I've seen/heard of CDs used to scare birds away here too.
I have a ton of left over cd's, and will never use them, also have a drawer full of movies on them that will never be watched. I need to chuck them out. they look so pretty in the sun... we have a fence that looks like the bedraggled one
Great qutoe Ginny....It is the Garden that nurtures us. Love it!!
The gardens do nurture us! I wonder what the CD'S do?
That IS a great quote.
I think that's a great quote. I've never seen a garden quite like this. I'm a fan! You know, we recently just got a new cabinet painting in our kitchen, and I look out our kitchen windows to see our garden. Well, I did in the summer at least. It was always such a soul-calming thing to look out that window and enjoy the beauty. Thanks for sharing.
Thought I'd answer your question here. I have AFib and with medication am fine. No restrictions.
Very true on today’s quote. Super photos. Those CD’s flashing in the sun would certainly scare off the birds.
Those CD's are interesting. Although, I wonder if they work. One time I put up some florescent ribbon to chase off the woodpecker that was poking at my house, but it didn't seem to work. He came anyways, until it was his time to leave. I love that quote, and it's so true, isn't it?
