Waiting in line at the drug store drive-thru, I saw this tree at the edge of the parking lot. Wow, it really amazed me with it's color and beauty!
It had tiny berries on it, too.
After some research, I found out it is likely a Pistacia chinensis.
And shortly later, the sunset perfectly matched the tree.
Pistacia
Chinensis It is native to China, and is a member of the cashew family. Easy to
grow and draught tolerant. Resistant to pests and diseases and prized for it’s
beautiful foliage. I want one now!

They do match! And they're both gorgeous.

Wow, that tree is putting on a spectacular autumn show. The colors are gorgeous. It matches that sunset perfectly too.

I agree with Sandra, those colours are amazing.
Love it. That's what the name of the tree in our front yard is too. Our neighbor calls it a pistachio tree. We are still waiting for it to turn that glorious brilliant red color. A few more nights of chilly temperatures will give it a final boost.

That is a beautifully colored tree!! And a beautiful sunset too.
It was nice to see that the colors in nature were so coordinated, Ginny.
Oh wow, that’s beautiful.
What a pretty tree with gorgeous color! I have seen this type of tree before. We are still having so much color where I live. What a lovely sunset you saw afterwards. I miss CVS, I used to have one in my old town. It had lots of good stuff always.
Have a restful weekend, Ginny.

Gorgeous...and I a laughing cause back at our old house, I had the IGA trees that I watched...IGA was local grocery.
They match exactly - so gorgeous!
This is one of my favorite trees in the Fall, from down at the Farm. Sam grows thousands of them and seeing them this time of the year, growing in rows is quite stunning. Love the orange skies and the orange flaming colors of the tree.
I want one too! Drought resistant? You can't beat that!
