The Culprit

A few blocks away, this house still has a garden out front! And believe it or not, flowers are still blooming.

In front of the garden are a few carved jack-0-lanterns.

But one is all torn up, with big parts missing! What could have happened?

Here is the culprit! This squirrel had eaten the inside of it, and come back for more right in front of us!

At least it's a squirrel, not a human vandal. 😊

I like squirrels - outside - we had them in the attic of our house and it was awful! This one is cute.

FEAR has done so much damage to my life, and has been in control of me for all my life. I still have fears I had as a very small child.

Fun pumpkins...I wonder if they let them seed right there and grow their own pumpkins for next year. a few years ago, my daughter set her pumpkin out in certain area of their yard and just let it rot there...the next year, she had beautiful pumpkins...

Oh, that poor pumpkin. These pumpkins look like they are withering away. Mine are getting a bit withered on my front porch. I always wonder if the squirrels will get them, but they are not carved, so I never have a problem. The fear quote is a good one, and so true. We all have fear from time to time.....but that's when we Pray. : ) I enjoy your posts, Ginny, as they are filled with lots of interesting things you see in the neighborhood and along the way.

Fear can be a prison for our minds.
The Lord says over 300 times to Fear Not.. It seems it is hard to do though.
