Some of you may remember my Lifesaver succulent. It has been doing so well for quite a few years. But this year some of it's stems have started to die.
Despite that, it is still blooming beautifully! It is called Lifesaver plant because the flowers look like Lifesaver candy.
So it seems to be both thriving, blooming, and dying all at the same time. I finally cut the dead stems off and it does look a bit better. I am afraid to repot it, as they love being rootbound.

Lovely photos, Ginny. Your header is fabulous.
It is such an interesting plant. I hope it grows new stems for you.
I do remember this. It's such a fascinating plant. I hope the parts that are dying won't effect the rest of the plant.
That's one beautiful and tenacious plant, Ginny. Beautiful photos!
OMG. What a groovy looking flower!
either too much direct sun or over watering can cause this. Or it just has a mind of its own. Yours is the only one I have ever seen and had no heard of one until you got yours.
such a different kind of plant. I've seen one of these before and how strange it looks. Your header is awesome!!
It is such a strange plant Ginny. I still have yet to find one. I will have to look harder. Hee Hee!
I do remember your life saver plant. It's very cool, but I have no idea about repotting!
I don't know what the life cycle is for a plant like that, Ginny. Maybe a call to your local florist can shed some light on what's causing the problem. I do know succulents like warmth....do you have yours near a chilly window? Love, Andrea xoxo
It's such an interesting plant. I hope it does ok.
Yes, I remember it well. Sure hope is survives!!!
Oh I remember this plant and have never seen one since you introduced it to us.
I hope it will continue to do well with your loving care for it.

That bloom is unbelievable - such a beauty. I hope the health of this sweet plant comes back. It is still gifting you despite having a few bumps right now.
Their life forms are work of art
I hope it survives! ❤️
What a cool looking plant. The bloom is lovely.
Sometimes they need some pruning. It looks healthy to me.
The flower is so interesting. I have never seen a real one, and had never even heard of it until I read your previous post.
