A Trip To Wal-Mart

We went to Wal-Mart today just to look around for after Christmas sales. I figured they wouldn't be busy on New Year's Day, and they weren't. On the way there, the sky was unusual and beautiful.

And unless I show you, you would not believe this. They have shelves of EASTER things out!!!

They also had several scary monster stuffed animals. Go figure.

I liked this cute goose in a hoody!

This lady had some bling on New Year's Day. Her purse was covered with gems. But I noticed she still has the tags on it!

“It’s January. Why is that bunny already judging me from the shelf?”

Nice purse. That lady needs to remove the tags.
Beautiful photos, Ginny.

The trip highlights helping others, being patient, and showing respect in everyday situations.
It reminds us that our actions, no matter how small, can positively affect the people around us.

I was in Walmart 2 days after Christmas. They had Valentines stuff out but I didn't see any Easter yet. I didn't even bother looking at the reduced Christmas.
I hope that purse wasn't a Walmart purchase. With the tag still on it they may think she's trying to steal it.

the bling bag is a Kurt Geiger Bag and expensive, maybe she had the name tag hanging so others would know? I found that by Google lens search.
my theory on Easter out is it gives people time to afford to buy one before Easter, and the monsters are left over from no one got them for Christmas. the sky looks like someone finger painted it. odd but beautiful

Easter???? No! Please! My goodness, they rush us, don't they??? Your sky photo is absolutely stunning, my friend! Have a cozy weekend!

Beautiful sky shots! I am so not ready to decorate anything for at least another month or more. I really only do a normal amount if decorating in the spring and then an overload of sunflowers in June and I start fall after the 4th of July. This year 'll be starting Christmas right after Halloween which I don't decorate at all anymore.
Did you find any good buys at Walmart?

As soon as one holiday is gone, they start with the next one. It crazy.
Dramatic looking sky.

Wow that is a beautiful sky, Ginny. I don't know why that lady still had tags on her purse. Maybe a new fad? I remember about 10 years ago, guys would keep all the labels on their sport caps for their favorite teams. Dumb.

I'm still recovering from Christmas, Ginny, and seeing those Easter decorations would have made my head explode - LOL! It's why I shop online whenever I can. Happy New Year!

Happy 2026. That sky looks unnatural. Those are not clouds formed by nature. Look up seeding the sky. Science is doing this via planes.

Oh my, Easter stuff out! I noticed some Valentine stuff displayed at Dollar General and Safeway, and that was fine with me. Lots of pink and red stuff is right up my alley. ; ) That sky photo is mysterious and beautiful.

The Perch

Last summer, a tiny bird used our garden flag as a perch. And the flag actually has the picture of a bird on it. Making the perfect photo ...
