The Perch

Last summer, a tiny bird used our garden flag as a perch. And the flag actually has the picture of a bird on it. Making the perfect photo op.

I don't mean to brag

But I have a bird on my flag!

P.S. We are facing a huge historic blizzard Saturday night, as over half the country is. So if you don't hear from me in awhile, you will know we have lost power.

How cute that is and nice to see a summery picture instead of snow. Stay safe. We have that storm headed our way too.

Such a cheerful photo, Ginny. Same here when it comes to communication. Stay safe!

At least you aren't "shooting the bird" at anyone so you have bragging rights! lol. Good luck during the storm. We are at minus 16˚F right now and not supposed to get above ZERO˚ today. I am SOOO ready for Spring! xo Diana

It's so cute! And lovely to see green again.
We've been in a terrible storm all week - 26 inches of snow so far and today it is -10 degrees.
Hope it doesn't hit you too hard and you keep power!

this little birdie did make for the perfect photo....Same around here too Ginny...of course, our storm will be nothing compared to y'alls, but it doesn't take much around here to lose power. We have so many trees.

That is a sweet photo. I hope you don't lose power. Is that because of the ice?

We've had "snow in the air" here all day today, but not all that much gathered the ground in the end, compared to earlier in January. Yet, anyway...

Oh Ginny, Prayers for you and those around you. Praying you don't loose power and you will stay safe and warm.
Love the bird on your flag too.

That's a lovely, lovely photo Ginny, love it! Hoping all goes well with you and Phil during this storm. They keep changing the forecast for us down here every time we check. It becomes less snow and more ice, so we'll just have to wait and see. I hope yours lessens also.

Also hope your power stays on!

What a cute little flag, and love the photo you took of the bird perched on it. I heard about the storms coming through many of the states. Try to stay nice and warm inside, Ginny. I hope you don't lose power. Take care, and thinking of you.

Dear Ginny, I am in the same boat as you are with the extreme frigid temperatures. Keeping you and Phil in my prayers, dear friend. I absolutely love this photo and your blog header and background! Stay warm and safe.
