Where Sunscreen Meets Spooky

We happened to be shopping around Cracker Barrell last week, and would you believe they had Summerween things? This was even before The 4th Of July!! We were greeted with this.

This looked like a giant skeleton soldier. It must have been four feet tall.

But I did like this hand soap. It was sparkly and pretty.

A Halloween tree!

This was one of those dish towels you hang on the stove handle. It was tempting because we love cats.

These were two cute little shelf sitters.

Large bowl made from skulls

A large witches' house.

It's not easy to see, but this was a spooky ferris wheel!

This was actually pretty. it was a glitter globe that looked like a house. Pretty and sparkly glitter inside.

Yes, I did buy one thing. These cute little salt & pepper shakers. They are tiny, maybe only two inches high.

And we wonder why we loose track of time! Lol.

That's crazy how early they put this stuff out. They do have some nice things but I want summery stuff still. Those skeletons are everywhere but I don't get the appeal. The salt and pepper shakers you bought are very cute.

Well, we do live in rather spooky times (politically) - but still...! :o

It's amazing how early the Halloween displays appear these days, but I have to admit those sparkly decorations and cat-themed finds would make it very hard to leave the store empty-handed

Halloween? Already??? Not for me, Ginny, but I did enjoy your photos.

Oh man - I'm really not ready for that yet! But I know they put it out early!

Isn’t that something? Nope, not ready yet but did enjoy looking.

Are you kidding me right now? Summerween? Good grief. I think the obsession with Halloween has officially gone too far! I'm getting ready to transition my decor to sunflowers and honeybees, hahaha xoxo

We aren't even half way through summer.

Doesn't time go by quickly enough without rushing the next event!! :)

Halloween in July? Here they don't start until August after the back-to-school sales.
