Separated At Birth

My sister and I went shopping last week and got matching T-shirts for Christmas, aren't we festive looking? Betcha didn't know I had a sister, did you? Well, I do, even though we happened to be separated at birth for about the first 60 years...and I'll tell you a little secret, my sister is quite mad. Well, she's Sandra over at MADSNAPPER, where you'll find her post about me today, we both timed our posts about each other! Stop by and take a look, her blog is joyful and friendly, just like she is. We are both Madsnappers because we take pictures of everything and are quite obsessed with it! I first met Sandra a little over a year ago when she visited my blog and commented. Since then we have never shut up. We continue to discover that we have so much in common that it's just plain scary, not just common things, but unusual things. O.K., she is not my REAL sister (though I sometimes wonder - we even look alike) but we are soul sisters, understanding everything each other goes through and knowing how we feel about it without having to even tell each other. We just KNOW. Even our mothers have striking similarities! And here's the surprise, we have never even met! Sandra is a photo editing wiz and put this picture together with her talents. We have only talked on the phone and through computer. But now here we are together for the first time in our Christmas picture, so she is not only in my heart, but right beside me in this neat picture!! Way to go, sis!!

Now you really had me surprised... "But that looks like Sandra. It is Sandra. Where are they? Why haven't they said they were going to meet?"

omigosh, Ginny. I absolutely love this. Aren't blogosphere friendships just the BEST? And when they go real world, it's even better.

Hugs,
Annie

p.s. My daughter would just be all OVER those t-shirts.

Totally cool photo of you two, you do look like sisters. You had me going for a minute too Ginny.

Isn't the blog universe (and technology) a truly wonderful thing.

Your new header is stunning.

You asked about Ragdoll cats. The Ragdoll is a recognized breed. They can be very large cats, Tasha was sixteen pounds of pure muscle.

I think this is great. I'm a little un-certain whether I've understood your words correctly. Were the two of you actually standing side by side? Or did Sandra (using her editing skills) put two different pictures together? Either way its a great picture and a storybook friendship full of joy!

I should have known that two of my favorite bloggers were closely related. Doesn't surprise me at all.

I gotta say..if you two were cast as sisters in Hollywood, it'd be totally believable! In fact...give them a call out there. They could use the both of you. Congrats. Friendship is what counts in life.

Loved your simultaneous soul sisters posts! Both of you are madsnappers and gladsnappers. And about that header photo, I'm with Sandra. It is fantastic and I can't wait to hear about it.

Since I've followed the two of you for several months, I can see the similarities. I certainly enjoyed both of your posts today. Hopefully you two sisters can meet in person some day.

Oh My Gosh.... I'm so impressed with what Snadra did with that photo... To think that you two have truly NEVER met (since in the womb of course)---that photo is even more amazing!!!!!!

IF I am a member of the family, then I'm the BLACK SHEEP---the one who does stand on the edge of cliffs, under rocks, who travels anywhere and everywhere ---but I'm still the Black Sheep who loves you both...

Hugs,
Betsy

My first thought was...I didn't know Ginny had a sister!! But how wonderful to find someone like Sandra. Great photo! I'll be checking out Sandra's post now.

About your question on my blog...the plant doesn't stink. The thorny part is the seedhead which is why I presume the name was given.

Actually, you might be triplets.... I think there are characteristics of both of you that are similar to Beverly. We are all sisters in Christ though.

I just came over from your sisters blog :) You two do look like you could be sisters. It's wonderful how good friendships can develop from this wonderful world of the internet and blogging.
Um were you supposed to reveal the secret about the picture being photoshopped?...lol

Aw, how sweet - you guys look great in your matching t-shirts. Isn't the computer age marvelous? It's amazing to find another "twin" of oneself. It happened to me a couple of times with bloggers that just seemed to know me inside out. Those are the small, everyday miracles that make life exciting. Maybe one day you can actually meet and take a photo together. That is something to look forward to.
I often think that if I had the money to travel where ever I wanted to go, I could see all my dear blogging buddies and never feel lonely through my journey.

I'm so happy for you both!
