Vera Bradley

Aren't blog giveaways fun? I love them!! So I always knew that one day I would have one. And that day has come. You know how some women shop for and collect shoes? Well, this is the way I am about purses. I have collected many, and am now cleaning out my stash. So I am giving away this authentic Vera Bradley purse. I have never used it and it is in perfect condition. So if you would like this purse, here's all you have to do. Be one of my loyal followers, and leave a comment between now and midnight this Sunday. The comment should be about a purse, either your favorite one or a story about one, or why you would like this one. I warn you that this purse is small, only 10X6. So the only camera that will fit in it is a compact point and shoot. So get busy commenting, this ends on midnight Sunday. I will then put all your names in a basket and draw one without looking. If I do not get the winner's address in two days, I will draw another name. Good luck!

Hello Ginny - your first give away - Hey I am a loyal follower.
Would love your purse - how come you didn't use it?
I could have used this purse on my trip to Indiana.
It's very pretty.
Good to be home.

I'll be one of your loyal followers, but that purse wouldn't go with a single thing I have to wear.

It's a very lovely purse - but I don't carry any kind of purse, only my wallet and keys. I know - I'm weird! I'm probably overreacting to the HUGE bags everyone wears nowadays! I will no longer carry everything but the kitchen sink around with me, LOL!!! I have a bunch of purses I used to carry - and will probably send them off to the Goodwill if and when we ever move again.

Enjoy the fun of the draw for the winner!

Here I am, your loyal follower. Here's my purse story: I've always loved purses. Once, when I came home with a new purse (as a teenager), my father said "now that you've bought that purse, you have no money to put in it" and he was right!!

If I win, could you please include a small camera? Thanks!

Best,
Bonnie

Hi Cutie, I am definitely a loyal follower --but since I don't participate in Giveaways, I will give my vote to someone else!!!!

That is a gorgeous purse --but I truly don't use them much anymore... Since I carry my laptop with me most places, I have a BIG tote bag which I now use instead of a purse...

Someone will love that purse though... You are sweet to give it away.
Hugs,
Betsy

This is a very pretty bag, Ginny! I've always admired Vera Bradley but never owned one of her bags. I am the type who buys a bag and then uses it till it falls apart. I guess I'm not a fashion maven :) I've been your follower for awhile..it is always a pleasure to read you blog!

I love Vera Bradley. we have a store nearby and I loved going in and looking at all the neat stuff.
My Favorite purse ever was the communion purse I received. It had a little children's mass book and rosary and I thought it was the loveliest thing I had ever seen!
Blessings, Joanne

I am a fellow purse-aholic, I care more about them than shoes. Handbags are my weakness. Unfortunately I love the really large shoulder bags so I'll pass on the giveaway, I don't think my camera would fit.

Good luck to everyone who enters and you are a sweetie for doing the giveaway Ginny.

Hi Ginny, Just two days ago I was looking at similar purses in a gift shop. They are quite pretty. I think it is good to give things to others who may enjoy having them when one does not need the item. Have a super nice day!

Hi Ginny, I'm a follower! I love the colors of that purse. There are many times when a small purse would be perfect!

hey Ginny, interesting!! All about the cute purse.. you know, when i first glanced at it just now, it is familiar with the print in my country, it is called "Batek"... the designs and the colors where it twirls and at the same thing, it brings an exotic look..

Boy, you sure conjured up memories back to my high school days. You knew the boy that you were going steady with really liked you if he bought you a "John Romain" purse. They were all the rage back then and at $25.00 to $30.00 that as a lot for a guy to spend on a purse. Mine was blue and I was in hog heaven.

Thanks for the trip back in time.

HOPE your day is good!

you know I am a loyal follower, but please don't enter me in the purse lotto. I do not use a purse, have not for about 10 years. i have one in the closet that I used when i worked to carry all the what if i need it to work. i carry my debit card, drivers license in my pocket and my keys. purses drive me nuts keeping up with them. i only wear pants that have pockets. it is a nice looking purse and someone will be blessed to get it.

That's about the same size as my very first purse - not counting the dress-up bags of my mother's.

That bag was nothing like as stylish as the VB but oh, I thought I was something when I carried it. How grown-up I felt.

I'm a follower and I would love to win that cute bag. Car keys and some plastic is all I need.

Ginny, I do not have a blog but yours is the one I start my day with. My Vera Bradley purse is seeing signs of old age, just like me. Keep putting your beautiful pictures up. I do enjoy them.

Ginny: Those are orchids in my new header. I photographed them at the gardens in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. They were beautiful.

Hi Ginny, I do love that Vera Bradley purse. It would be a perfect gift for my daughter in law. She is a purse-maven too. Probably she and her daughters would have a time deciding who would use it.
Love to be a part of your first give away.

Can't believe we have yet another thing in common, Ginny! I've been quite a purse-aholic too in my day. A lot more tempted by purses than by shoes anyway. I've tried to restrain myself in later years... But I actually wear purses out, so from time to time I do *need* to buy new ones. This one is very pretty... just my colours ;) As for sizes, my favourites are the ones that are small on the outside but big inside! (They're hard to find.)

I've enjoyed following you for quite some time now ... you take us to delightful places!

The bag contains some of my favorite colors and is an excellent size.

Hey Ginny...the purse looks great although I never heard of Vera Bradley. Small bags are the best as I travel light. ☺

My handbag story..I was just 17yrs old and left my purse on a car hood visiting someone in another town. I had a favorite pair of earrings inside too! Anyway, a year later I got a call from a wherever it was turned in (I'm trying to remember if it was a police station or something)..
everything was still in it- including the earnings I still have to this day!
That's a pretty bag Ginny-

Oh I like the colors on that one. I have something similar but mine is a Bella Taylor. It's my favorite but the colors are more fallish.
I'm certainly a loyal follower and I was just thinking I needed a new purse :)
