Beautiful Star

There they stand, the innumerable stars, shining in order like a living hymn, written in light.  ~N.P. Willis

Twilight drops her curtain down, and pins it with a star.  ~Lucy Maud Montgomery

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. ~Oscar Wilde

I have a few very busy days coming up. We have extra babysitting, three parties, a family reunion, our wedding anniversary, our son's birthday, and a funeral. So it will be impossible to do much, if any, computer stuff. I will not be visiting blogs or posting until Thursday. I will miss you, and will be catching up when I return! I will come back with new pictures, and news in the continuing story of the wandering silver pig! Leaving you with some beautiful stars, I hope they shine brightly for you while I am gone!!

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
Matthew 2:2

Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem
Shine upon us until the glory dawn
Give us a lamp to light the way
Unto the land of perfect day
Oh beautiful star of Bethlehem shine on

Oh my. That does sound like a busy week. I have nothing like that on the schedule and I kind of feel busy anyway! Hope all goes as smoothly as it can for you.

The stars are all beautiful. I think my favourite is the one you chose for your header though. I love that blue.

A Happy Anniversary to you both! God's abundant blessings for the year ahead! Isn't it always that way - some weeks there's nothing much going on and then whammo - so many things in another week! May you have strength for each day. My sympathies to the friends and family of the deceased. God bless!

These stars are beautiful. Thank you for posting them. Boy oh boy do you have a busy schedule. Since I am late reading this, Happy Anniversary belatedly. You like to bunch big occassions close to Christmas don't you Ginny? Your anniversary, Michael's birthday. What could be nicer than having them close to that of the birth of the King. Hope it was wonderful celebration.
