Heading Home

You can never go home again, but the truth is you can never leave home, so it's all right.  ~Maya Angelou

Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to.  ~John Ed Pearce

Heading back home of an evening.

” You trust God, don't you? Trust me. There is plenty of room for you in my Father's home. If that weren't so, would I have told you that I'm on my way to get a room ready for you? And if I'm on my way to get your room ready, I'll come back and get you so you can live where I live. And you already know the road I'm taking."

You know Ginny - I don't know what time of day you are out getting these gorgeous photos but they are lovely and do make you feel good. Home to me is where I feel safe. My home, with family, and with the Lord. I know you feel that way too.
Hugs, sandie

What great night-time photos Ginny! This world is not my home, I'm just a passing through....is the song that comes to mind. I'll be singing it on the inside when I go to sleep later on! Blessings for a great week-end!

Beautiful photos, Ginny... Gorgeous!!!! Speaking of home, the people who now own my childhood home have totally changed it/renovated it---and even though it's nice, I just can't look at it anymore. It's not "MY" home any longer. Maybe that is selfish on my part---but I could cry seeing the changes in that home--which was so special to me... Oh Well..

Have a good weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

So true!!! I love your quotes. Sometimes especially when I feel sick I wish I could just go back to that place where Mom took care of me...made me all my favorites and stroked my hair till I fell asleep.
Blessings, Joanne

Take me home, country road, to the place I belong. My Maryland teacher's song.

Nothing worst than a traffic jam when you are heading home. Now I walk 5 mintues and I am home from school.

Sunday Sunset
