A Country Storm

We were driving on county roads today, and we could see the storm coming closer and closer as we drove through it. It had a large and dark beauty.

And of course, whenever it rains, there is always a wreck...

“Do you have any idea how God does it all, how he makes bright lightning from dark storms, How he piles up the cumulus clouds— all these miracle-wonders of a perfect Mind?”

Job 37

As long as the wind is not strong, I don't mind if it rains heavily. Strong winds will create a wreck, just like the recent typhoon in Hongkong.. that is really terrible..

Lovely series of storm clouds. The sheets of rain that show in the distance are beautiful to look at, and mesmerizing at times. A shame about the wreck. We always seem to come across some kind of collision in rainy weather.

I do love a good storm, one that reminds me Who has the Power! It's like life, isn't it? These pictures also remind me that when the storms come, we become a wreck if we're not solidly grounded in Him.

those wrecks in rain are the reason I only go out in rain if I have to. I am careful but others are not. storms are beautiful to see

I hope the wreck wasn't serious. You captured the beauty of the storm very well.

Love watching a storm roll in. It's sad that people just don't take the necessary precautions when weather is bad.

There is so much beau in a storm. Too bad that people get careless and accidents happen.
