Love their bright yellow feathers
Our Goldfinches are not as colourful as yours Ginny, they are brown with a bit of red and a flash of yellow, sill beautiful though.

these little guys should be named JOY finches, they are the color of JOY.. so precious.. and i have never seen one.
Have not seen these around here, You do an awesome job on capturing these glorious sights. You must have a great camera and know how to use it. My point and shoot do not too well.
I like your photos of the goldfinches. We're fortunate enough to have them around our feeders most of the year.

We have goldfinches in Wisconsin as well. They are a favorite of mine. We feed the birds all year, it is one of my favorite things, watching the birds.
My point and shoot do not too well.
