Some of the colors in the stadium.
A bird of peace.
Night Skiing.
The Olympic rings made from 1,200 drones in the sky.
The path up to light the cauldron.
The cauldron.
And the closing. There, now you don't have to spend four hours watching it.
“You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re
after one that’s gold eternally.”

You got some great pictures from the telecast of the opening ceremony. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I watched it with my great-grandson last night. We are all snowed in here.
I loved seeing your pictures and your comments and I missed some of them last night. There was a person at the end who gave a quote about the footsteps of God and catching on to the hem of... wish I could have remembered it. Happy Saturday where you are.
Eternal gold...lovely photos! Where is it this year? I feel like I should know that already.
Thanks. Now I don't have to go looking it up... ;)
I taped it and am going to sit down and watch later--that tiger is phenomenal!!!!
