Elephant Poo

Here is another elephant gift I got for Christmas. It is cute note cards and envelopes with a mom & baby elephant on them.

They are made from elephant poop. Don't believe me? Here, it says so on the back of the box.

I think this is done because if people can make money from elephant poop, they won't shoot them. It was an interesting Christmas. Would you use them?

“Elephants love reunions. They recognize one another after years and years of separation and greet each other with wild, boisterous joy. There’s bellowing and trumpeting, ear flapping and rubbing. Trunks entwine.”

It is good to know that they are recycling elephant poo to make paper. Hope others will follow the example. Wonderful weekend!

I've heard (or read) that they do the same with panda poo! Of course I'd use them. And, I Love your note cards.

I would use them if I used cards or paper. I think it is fantastic they are finding ways to recycle things like that. think of all the dog poo, maybe they will find a way to use that...

I would use them. It would be a waste not to...lol I've heard of using things like that. I can't remember where I saw it but there is a woman who makes things out of moose poop

We need to keep coming up with a lot more recycling ideas to save the environment so anything that helps with that must be good :)

I have always loved elephants...and the more I read, the more they fascinate me.

That is most interesting. Yes, I would use them, if for no other reason than the uniqueness of them.

I have heard that elephants never forget. I would use those I guess. Kind of unusual.

Well that's a new one, I have never heard of elephant poo paper before. Ingenious really. Love elephants and I love the info quote by Jennifer Richard Jacobson. Thanks Ginny! Our house guest left this morning and I am slowly catching up on blogs. I've missed visiting.
