Pink Cement Mixer

There is a pink cement mixer around here. I have seen it several times, and finally managed to get some shots of it. I sure wish I knew the story behind it. Wonder if it is owned and driven by women?

It does say "Fight against breast cancer".

Never seen a pink cement mixer before... white ones, yes! You always catch the unique ones, Ginny!

Well you don't see that every day. My guess would be that the owner has either a wife or family member with breast cancer

I'm sure in the family there is a cancer survivor. Or I'd like to think in a positive way like that.

Maybe someone in the owner's family or friend has or had cancer. I've never seen a pink cement mixer before. It's very eye-catching and pretty :-)

You rock capturing the unique, the beautiful and the thought-provoking. You evidently aren't the only one in your area that has a talent for creating the amazing, lovely, and quirky! My first thought was a woman in the construction business.

I'm guessing that whoever owns it has had a loved one with breast cancer. Around here we see the occasional pink gravel hauler in pink.

Love the quote, and bet that whoever owns the cement truck either has family that has had breast cancer or lost someone to it.

We have those and pink ones for a plumbing company - breast cancer means a lot to me personally.

Such a neat thing to do. You don’t expect to see a pink cement truck but someone is showing their support and honoring all who have had this terrible disease.
