The Swifts

Every evening at dusk, the chimney swifts come in large flocks to dive into this large chimney. They wheel and spin for about 20 minutes before diving inside.

This may be my favorite time of the day. To sit on the hill watching the sunset, while the swifts fly so quietly overhead.

"The race is not to the swift
or the battle to the strong"

Ecclesiastes 9

Fantastic catches Ginny. Are you saying they all fly into that chimney? Hope it was not a house! That would scare me to death! Sandie

That is oh so special. Around here we get excited if we see one or two swifts.
