But what I didn't post was what came right after. The rains in the distance. My mom could smell rain coming. Can you?

I don't know if I can smell rain coming but I think there is a certain scent in the air when it is raining and after.
Sometimes I can smell rain coming...if the land is really parched.

I see the face. I don't know that I can smell rain, but I get a migraine about 12 hours usually before it begins so I am fully aware that it is coming. It is amazing to me as I grow older how much the weather truly affects how I feel.
I did not see the profile till you mentioned it...I think I used to could smell rain. What I miss is in Tennessee where we lived, we could hear the rain coming.

When I was growing up on a farm in the Mid-West, I could often smell rain coming. I haven't noticed that here in Tennessee.

Oh yes, I can see the face! Sky makes very interesting pictures. I'm not sure if I have smelled rain coming, but I certainly smell when it's raining. And I love the smell of rain :-)
