The Succulents

Around Thanksgiving, I spotted these succulents in Wegmans. I loved how they were in little coffee containers, and thought they would look cool in the kitchen. So I bought them. They were quite cheap!

Then just before Christmas, I saw these in Aldis.  They called them black tie plants! About $3.00 each. This is how I come to have so many little succulents, though I never planned to have any!

You are inspiring me. I have a couple of pots full to these kinds of plants that are overcrowded.

I think that's the kind of plant I need since they don't require as much care as some house plants. I love the coffee container planters. They look great in your kitchen window

I like that last photo, it appeals to me most of all the photos. the coffee containers are really cute. I hope you don't share my kiss of death towards succulents. a blogger once mailed me a lot of succulents and said there was no way to kill them, and told me how to plant them. a couple months later they were all dead. yours look really pretty in your window. I also like the polka dot pot

I have never heard of a store called Wegmans. I would love to have plants but alas I am a plant killer....

I like them all but never try to have plants in this house...mainly because the cats would not leave them alone and I have had cats almost since we moved here.

In your part of the world, you have so many different goodies. I have seen some of these plants but not in such cute containers.

I have to admit I have "Coffee Container Envy". I LOVE those planters with the succulents in them.
I wonder where I could find some?
We don't have a Wegmans out here in Northern California.
Great post today.
