The Blanket

Pretty flowers, right?

No, just hundreds of petals making a beautiful blanket.

I have seen a flower blooming in beauty in a secluded vale, and, ere I had a chance to look again, a chilly breath of air had scattered its petals and left it a ruin .

They are absolutely beautiful on the ground and to me the quote is a good one except that to me they are not and ruining their beautiful on the ground and even a tree or bush that they fall from still look beautiful to me. Too bad you couldn't find all those if you were having a wedding and you could get them for free to throw out of the basket

Hi,
Was this a flowering crab apple tree? We had one years ago in our yard and it would do the same, loose all the flowers and create "pink snow" as we called it.

Regarding the onions, yes, we will use them for fresh eating. They have to dry to be hung and stored for the winter season. Thank you for asking my dear friend.
Love to you Ginny!

This is so pretty! It's like a second chance at beauty for those petals, first on the tree, then on the ground.
