Snub Nosed

Quite awhile ago, we watched a PBS show on the Himalayan Snub Nosed Monkeys. It is so cold where they live, no other monkey could survive. They don't really have a nose because if they did,  it would likely freeze off. I took all these pictures from the T.V.

They stay warm by huddling together.

On my next post, I will show you the extraordinary area where they live.

“A monkey, after getting drunk on brandy, would never touch it again, and thus is much wiser than most men.”

Oh, no nose but two holes... God is really awesome, He can create and define which type can live in cold and hot weather!

I saw this program. That's about the only program we watch...NATURE.

Well I'm certainly glad that I'm not a snub nosed monkey. I wouldn't survive in a place that was so cold my nose would freeze off.

I have to laugh Ginny, the background of your blog ... is a photo taken of the Netherlands ... Dordrecht and Rotterdam are big cities.

They are so ugly that they are cute and oh so adorable. I do not want to live wherever they live if it's that so cold it would freeze off the nose haha. This is all something new I have never even heard of them before

No nose, in that cold living. Amazing how Nature adapts to situations.

So cute! It's interesting how animals over a very long time can evolve to suit its climate and surroundings. Enjoyed this very much, thanks Ginny. You share the most interesting things.
