I wanted my kitchen table centerpiece to be not just for Christmas, but to stay out all winter. So this is what I put out. It is a Mama & baby squirrel, with beautiful bushy tails. I put a fruit floral pick in front of them, and that is my centerpiece!
The squirrel does not
sicken and die of anxiety lest he should not accumulate enough nuts for two
winters instead of one. The dog loses no sleep over the fact that he does not
have enough bones laid aside for his declining years.

In real life the squirrels think our yard is their playground and buffet...Not So Much fondness for the real thing...as Sandra calls them..TREE RATS...
