Come along to C.V.S. with me to pick up some drugs. Sounds like a boring trip, but really it's not. First we will pass these beautiful flowers.
The Crows of Wal-Mart were inspecting everyone who drove in.
A handsome Mockingbird.
She started feigning a broken wing. Likely to lead people away from her nest.
Once in the pill drive-thru, guess who came hopping by? There is a small woods on the edge of the parking lot.
And on the way home, we spotted a Flicker, the only ground eating woodpecker.

Going to pick up drugs is never that scenic for me. Those flowers are beautiful.

Those are the prettiest Petunia's I've ever seen. So much color! I've got 4 rabbits that are thriving in my backyard (my flowers aren't thriving though). I chase the rabbits off every time I see them; but it doesn't seem to be helping. I've spread the plants with something that's suppose to keep the rabbits and deer away or at least from eating them...it doesn't seem to be working either. Only a few of my favorite pink Lilies look like they're going to make it. The rabbits have eaten them to the ground. Soooooooo frustrated with them. My CVS is within walking distance, but nothing pretty to see on my trips. Lucky you.
our yard is full of flickers and crows, the parking lot at WM is full of HUGE crows and they do WATCH us.. we also have a zillion screaming gulls, since we are very close to the beach. in my research on owls, it says they love to live with flickers.. the owls are still here

The rabbit quote is perfect advice. Lovely flowers and I liked seeing the close ups of the flicker. We have a pair that seem to enjoy our yard now and then. Of course when they are around my camera isn't.
