This evening I cut myself on a mandoline while slicing potatoes. Part of my hand, and my major typing finger are bandaged. So I will be taking a short break from blogging. See you soon!

So Sorry, I hope it did not need stitches, I have never heard the word mandoline or seen one, so looked it up and that is a wicked blade on it. we will be waiting.STAY AWAY for SHARP BLADES! even one with a fancy name like mandoline.. I still use a paring knife like my mother used and my grandmother. I dropped the bread knife last week, it hit the floor, bounced in the air ad knicked my shin bone one inch under the just healed place that the computer put there 3 weeks ago.
OUCH!!! I've cut myself on one of those before. Probably not as bas as you have but they are definitely sharp. Heal quickly.

Oh no! I am so sorry you did that and hope you heal quickly. I have a mandolin that I have never used, I keep looking at it and thinking I really should take it out of its box. Think I will think about it some more ;) Take good care of yourself and your ouchie!
