Corny

So, on to the last thing we passed on the way home from cross country. This house is right around the corner from us. And it appears they are growing corn right at their front door! Cornfusing...

Corn is also called maize. It’s a wild grass that dates back over 9,000 years.

I think that's neat! 😊

Very interesting! I wonder how many ears of corn they can produce? Cute funny also.

Interesting place to plant it. Maybe they did that so that they could use it for fall decorations after the corn is done growing.

Well, why not? If you like to have a tall plant, might as well be something useful! :)

great idea, pretty to look at and food to eat. I love fresh corn. not sure this will bear though, I think I remember daddy said had to have at least two rows, or more to get corn..

A bit unusual but still a good idea!

Good grief! Corn at the door, just like milk. xoxo

Yikes now I call that a devoted corn eater!

Love corn on the cob, especially fresh right at one's doorstep.
I do hope they will get a few ears from it, though it is unusual to see where it is grown.

I wonder why the didn't put it behind the house but maybe it gets better sunshine there!

Oh, right in front of the window too! I love corn, by the way, either grilled, steamed or put into soups, they are sweet and nice!

I love this....Definitely something you might see in TEXAS. Corn, tomatoes and maybe even okra growing in the flower beds. Not sure how many ears of corn they will get off of these plants, but hope they enjoy..
