Pumpkin Stand

Because of the weather, pumpkin growers have been having a hard time. We have only seen one pumpkin stand so far. We passed it last week, and it is a nice one.

Here is a good view of the mountain behind it, can you see the cows?

Here is a peek inside, all my shots were taken from the car as we drove by.

And a shot of the cows in the pasture behind it.

“I can smell autumn dancing in the breeze.
The sweet chill of pumpkin and crisp sunburnt leaves.”

Seeing cows always warms my heart. Was the weather too hot for pumpkins?

The sceneries are just so gorgeous. Sad that pumpkin is not growing. I read that Japan autumn season is delayed due to lack of cold turn of temperature.

That does look like a nice one. I haven't bought a pumpkin in a long time. Maybe this year I'll go out and try and find a pumpkin farm to go to.

that display on the wall is really pretty. what a great way to display them. I think pumpkin sales might be down even for what they were able to grow because the daily food we eat is so expensive. milk, bread, cereal, eggs all sky high

Interesting way to display pumpkins! They seem to be doing ok around here. We have lots of stands. I need to get some for our porch.

I would much prefer to buy my pumpkins from a stand like this, rather than a supermarket. So quaint.

The weather this year really seems to be doing a number on all types of produce and the trees around us too.
That pumpkin stand will do a fantastic business. Lovely set-up and I love seeing cows out standing in their field...

Oh my word Ginny, Virginia in the autumn is just so idyllic. I wish we were going up to Fulks Run to see our friends there again in October! Your shots are great taken from the car. I love taking pics from the car! Sorry about the pumpkin crops xoxo
