Shine On

Tonight was the Super Harvest Moon. We went up on a hill to watch it rise. After getting there in the gloom, we noticed some hay that had been bailed and left in the tiny field.

It looked pretty with the mountains behind it.

But the moon was definitely the star of the show tonight, huge and bright.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

― Paul the Apostle

Oh. my goodness. What beautiful pictures of the moon. I love the way hay looks when it is bailed in the field. Of course, I know it's not good for the farmers to leave it there for long but it looks so pretty. It smells wonderful as well.

Such a beautiful moon. Someone at work asked me if I saw it yesterday morning. I think there were too many clouds when I went to work. I had got a slight glimpse of it the night before when I let Gibbs out. I meant to get a better look and then I forgot.

Wasn't that beautiful? I was actually out harvesting when it came up!

I noticed the moon last night as we were leaving our tent revival at church and my oldest granddoll commented on how large and bright it was. It was a sight to behold.

You get the best moon shots, this one is no exception. Just beautiful, thank you from me, who forgot all about it and went to bed early.

Wasn't it incredible, the moon? I saw it! Recently my TG told me how much those hay bales weigh. I don't remember what it was but it was lots more than I ever would have guessed, haaa! xoxo

These are wonderful photos of the Harvest Moon. On my drive home, it was dark out, and I noticed the moon in the distance, and it was such a pleasant sight. It's really nice that you stop and notice the different moons when they are out. The Harvest Moon is awesome. Thank you for sharing this verse today, Ginny. It's really a good one, and I'll write that one down right now....and remember it. That hay bail is pretty cool too.
